Making Reservations

We require reservations to stay or dine at the Savage River Lodge. Because of our small size, we cannot accommodate walk-in requests for lodging. And since all meals at our restaurant are freshly prepared, not "pre-fabricated", reservations are necessary for meals.

We can accommodate your pets for overnight stays by advance arrangement only.

Rates and Customs

Our rates include lodging in a private luxury cabin, homemade muffins delivered to your cabin each morning, and use of all facilities during your stay. Rates are subject to an 10% tax.

Children under the age of two stay free.*
There are additional fees for your family pets, $25 per night. We do not accept pets without prior notification and arrangement.

Though limited one night stays are sometimes available on weekends, we generally require a two-night stay for weekend visits, and on some holiday weekends we require a three night stay..

Please call for our rates for stays longer than two nights or for special holiday or event packages.

*A Note for Guests with Children

While the Savage River Lodge welcomes guests traveling with young children, please understand that we are an adult-centered resort and do not offer children’s programs or child sitting services. The restaurant offers a limited children’s dinner menu which is available from 5 to 6 p.m. We respectfully request that families with young children make dinner reservations prior to 6 p.m. We also ask that guests bringing children remain responsible for their children at all times, respecting the tranquility and ambiance that makes the Savage River Lodge a unique mountain resort destination.  We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Customs & Policies

Cancellations

Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. With fourteen days notice or more we are happy to apply your deposit to a future date or you may choose to receive a 90% refund. For any cancellations less than 14 days prior to your arrival the deposit is non-refundable. A notice of less than 72-hours will also result in the total balance due charged to the credit card on file. Should you depart earlier than your confirmed departure date, you will be responsible for all nights originally reserved.

Check in & Check Out

Check-in
Please note that our check-in time is between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. lf you should arrive earlier, every effort will be made to accommodate you as soon as possible. lf you will arrive after 8 p.m., please notify us so that we can make special arrangements for your arrival.

Departures
Check out is by noon on your departure date, though you are welcome to enjoy the Lodge after you have vacated your cabin.

Meeting and Events Packages

Our meeting packages are all-inclusive: meals, breaks, meeting facilities, audiovisual equipment and business amenities as described in our Meeting Planner's Guide. Rates are per person, per day. Rates are determined on a case by case basis. Please call or e-mail us to request rates for your event.
