Meeting
Facilities

Designed as a corporate retreat center, the Savage River Lodge meeting
facilities are a world apart from the "standard" hotel meeting room. The
upper level 1,200 square foot main meeting room features log walls, cathedral
ceiling, French doors leading to a treetop-view deck, comfortable furniture,
ample break-out spaces and business amenities.
The
Savage River Lodge is a meeting planner's dream, furnished with sensible
and sometimes unexpected details--high-tech audiovisual equipment, access to office supplies, fax and copier, above-average refreshments and meals,
a wall of tack-boards, discrete service, and more--at an affordable all-inclusive
package price.
Whether planning an hour-long meeting or a week-long training session, a corporate breakfast or elegant evening reception, or just a peaceful, private place to brainstorm, we're flexible and accommodating.

The
Nature of Business™
The
Savage River Lodge offers our own Nature of Business™ program for your
corporate, non-profit or private group. This program uses physically engaging
outdoor activities designed to build cooperation, team awareness and leadership
skills. Participants learn to recognize patterns and relationships in
nature and develop ways to apply these natural organizational principles
in their business and personal lives.
Some
sample activities include orienteering, cooking, canoeing, mountain biking,
wine tastings and other specially designed programs. Activities and classes
can focus on management, conflict issues and resolution, and strategic
planning.
Mike
Dreisbach has taught the Nature of Business™ to some of the nation's most
progressive companies, and will be happy to design a special program for
your group.
Whether
you particpate in the complete program or integrate segments into your
existing agenda, the Nature of Business™ is sure to bring a unique perspective
to your meeting.
