Since 2003, we've annually earned Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for our wine list of over 150 different wines. In addition to the Award of Excellence, the Lodge has also been awarded Wine Enthusiast's Award of Distinction.

After two decades of business, we were awarded the Small Business of the Year Award through the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, and the first business in Garrett County to win the award. The Maryland Chamber’s annual Small Business Awards recognize the dedication, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by small businesses in Maryland.

In 2010, we joined over 400 elite inns and B&Bs as a Select Registry member. Select Registry properties represent the best of the best in North America and the UK.
