Come out and support Brenda Smith on July 31, 2010 as she works to raise money for Mountain Maryland Trails. Smith serves as the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Cumberland. The event begins at 4:00 p.m. and lasts until 9:00 p.m. on that Saturday so be sure to mark you calendars to donate and have fun doing it! Mountain Maryland Trails aims to build and sustain the trail systems throughout Maryland. They were instrumental in the building of the Great Allegany Passage.
Here at the Savage River Lodge, we are dedicated to helping the community through a variety of fund raising events throughout the year for local non-profit organizations.

Among our many life blessings we'll include our stay at Savage River Lodge - the lovely cabin and lodge, the stillness and peace in the woods, the joy of our little spaniel who was in his glory off leash.
Porch sitting and reading in the rain, time for2memories to surface and time to reflect and talk with each other.
We are grateful!

What a wonderful blessing of God's beauty and the hospitality of the Savage River Lodge. This place provided the exact rest and renewal we needed away from the trials of everyday life.
This is our 2nd visit and we've made reservations for 2 more. This is the perfect combination of activity and rest. Being outside hiking, biking, etc. then having a lovely meal, hot shower and cozy bed is our idea of the best possible holiday. Bringing our Westie makes it even better. He loves to walk in the woods and was the life of the party at Yappy Hour. See you in March !
