Packages

ELOPEMENTS - $2,000

We provide a breathtaking venue for your marriage ceremony, the arranging of the officiant and the ceremony itself, along with two night’s lodging for a mini honeymoon. We’ll arrange for a basic wedding bouquet for the bride and matching boutonniere for the groom and include a petite wedding cake. Toast the perfect night with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne. We have an onsite officiant to perform civil ceremonies and can arrange a Christian minister.

Intimate weddingS - $3,000+

Package for three to 12 guests which provides the officiant, a Gruet sparkling wine toast for all guests, and a petit wedding cake. The package also includes two nights lodging in a luxury Premier cabin or yurt. While here, you and your guests will have exclusive access to our Library Room for the reception. Celebration menus begin at $35 per person for passed hors d’oeuvres, or $45 and up for buffet and plated-style dinners. We can also create specialty menus, and perfect your vision of the perfect day with a specialty cocktail, floral arrangements, or a custom wedding cake. Intimate Wedding packages are for parties up to 12 people, including the bride and groom. A reception is required.

semi-INTIMATE WEDDINGS - $5,000+

Offering the same inclusions and bespoke additions as our Intimate Wedding affairs, for parties of up to 25, including the bride and groom.

full closure WEDDING  - $10,000+

We can accommodate parties up to 60 with a full closure fee of $10,000. Private use of all Lodge facilities and amenities will be reserved from Friday at 3:00 p.m. through Sunday at noon. Our experienced wedding coordinator will be on hand to assist and facilitate your event, staging the meals, ceremony, reception, and vendor coordination. The Full Closure Wedding Package includes a bridal suite for two nights with complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne. Additional lodging, meals and other charges are not included. Full closure weddings for 60 guests, including all 26 rooms for two nights, and meals throughout the weekend average $38,000 to $48,000.



Availability

Savage River Lodge may be unable to accommodate weddings on Fridays, Saturdays, or during our peak season. Events of 20 to 60 guests must reserve exclusive use of the entire property, and may occur on weekends in March, April, July and August. Other dates may also be an option, for specific availability complete the inquiry form below.

Over the last 25 years, we have developed close relationships with other small businesses in the area that take the same care for each and every detail as we do. In planning your event, we would be more than happy to refer you to our favorite florists, photographers, musicians, local wineries and breweries, masseurs and more, who know the Savage River Lodge style to complete your vision. Naturally, we know who to go to for an exquisite cake or perfectly executed filet mignon, and we even have two registered officiants on staff.

 

Other Wedding Events

Most brides have their wedding venue picked well in advance, but have you thought about the rest of it? The bridal shower, bachelorette party and even getting ready on your big day? We can help your ideas come to life. From a plated dinner or buffet-style, to just dessert and coffee or a Champagne brunch, our celebrations coordinators will work with you to plan the perfect shower. If you're looking for something more low-key for your bachelorette party, consider us as well. We can provide luxury accommodations, a fabulous meal and keep the bubbly flowing all night. Have a wine tasting, paint party, or yoga class with your closest girlfriends - we'll take care of it! 

Our Library Room is the perfect facility for the rehearsal dinner. Once again, we'll work with you to plan your meal; you can party as long as you like, then head up to the cabins for a restful night of sleep. The next day, have your hair and make-up team come to us, we can bring a light brunch up to your cabin while you get ready and send you and your wedding party on your way to the main event. Afterwards, spend your first newly wedded night with us, before jet-setting off to your honeymoon.

And we can't forget the groom! What's more relaxing than a day spent fly fishing with your groomsmen, or on a boat Deep Creek Lake with a few coolers of beer (and our own Mike as your driver) for the groom's bachelor party? After a day spent on the water, come back to our gourmet restaurant for a great meal, more libations and stay in our luxury accommodations.

Accepting limited dates through 2024

*Garrett County, Maryland requires that marriage licenses be issued in Garrett County. There is no residency requirement, but there is a 48-hour waiting period. Licenses are valid for up to six months. Anyone 25 years of age or younger must have a birth certificate and driver's license as proof of age, and parental consent if under 18. If previously married, you will need the exact date and location of the marriage written on the divorce decree or death certificate.
