Cabins In The Woods

Our eighteen private cabins are a step beyond what one imagines upon hearing the word. Your two-story log cabin at the Savage River Lodge provides exceptional comfort and amenities.

In the main sleeping loft, you'll find a down-clad queen or king bed, good reading light and ample solitude. The main floor seating area is furnished with sink-into chairs, a queen sleeper-sofa, table and chairs, a gas-log fireplace, gourmet hot beverage supplies and equipment, including wine glasses and an SRL wine opener and a small refrigerator. Ceiling fans ensure your year-round comfort. The generous bath offers two sinks, a soaking tub, and upscale offerings--hair dryer, thick towels, unique bath products. Your rocking-chair-furnished porch provides a wonderful retreat.

In the morning, you'll open your cabin door to find your basket of fresh juice and muffins (and a Bodhi biscuit for the pooch). We have three different types of cabins from which to choose. The Standard cabins face the lane and the other cabins. The Forest cabins front porches provide a view of the Lodge forest. The Premier cabins, which are the most requested, offer a little more seclusion than the rest . All cabins are equipped with Comphy brand linens. Comphy linens are known for their luxury and use in high-end resorts, as well as their functionality. The lightweight fabric dries quickly, drastically reducing energy expenses and is a luxurious micro-fiber. 
 

Amenities: King or queen Size Bed with comphy linens (Queen sleeper sofa available in select cabins upon request, additional guest fees may apply), living area with plush furnishings, breakfast nook with table and two chairs, beverage bar including Rise UP! Coffee, half and half, two-cup coffee maker or french press, tea kettle, a fine selection of teas and homemade hot chocolate, mini-fridge, full standard bath with two sinks, two lodge robes, lather bath products (shampoo, conditioner, lotion & shower gel), HAIRDRYER, IRON AND IRONING BOARd (by request). Access to microwave station and ice at main lodge.

Seasonal amenities: ambient gas fireplace

All cabins are non-smoking and no candles are permitted. Some cabins are available to accommodate your family pets. There are no full kitchen facilities, microwaves, televisions, or air-conditioning in your cabin. Private fires and grills are not permitted.

During winter weather our road may only be accessible by 4x4 or AWD vehicles. Please call ahead for road conditions during winter months. If you do not have access to 4x4 or AWD, for your convenience consider renting one, or please call and ask about our shuttle service.
